WFMJ in Ohio USA uses our new software graphics device, StreamMaster PRIME, as a straight replacement for their legacy end-of-support transmission chain graphics.

Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) in Germany took delivery of a world-first, super-compact-lightweight portable emergency DAB+ transmitter.

Our studio production media server, VENICE, not only has the widest available codec selection but now adds 4k Ultra UHD signal handling using either 12G or 2SI.

Rohde & Schwarz has joined the World Teleport Association whose members are learning about the features and benefits to our solid-state power amplifier PKU100.

Media server platform gains full support for 2SI

We have extended the functionality of our R&S®VENICE platform for live studio production. In particular, it now supports 4k Ultra HD signals, using either 12G or 2SI formats.

VENICE is a high-performance, high-resilience media platform designed to manage complex signal processing and storage requirements, particularly in live studio production applications. It provides uninterrupted operations including scheduled recording, clip transforms and playouts, across a network of processors and both R&S storage and third-party qualified storage sub-systems. It also bridges the SDI and IP environments.

Rohde & Schwarz develops DAB+ mobile emergency transmitter for Bayerischer Rundfunk

Rohde & Schwarz has created a world’s first in developing a new super-compact and lightweight portable emergency DAB+ transmitter for Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) in Munich, Germany. This revolutionary new transmitter design is a variant of the company’s R&S®TMV9-4 DAB+ transmitter and ensures continuity of broadcast across BR’s DAB+ radio network.

WFMJ selects StreamMaster PRIME for branding refresh

Pixel Power, a Rohde & Schwarz company, has delivered a configurable StreamMaster PRIME system to WFMJ, the NBC and CW affiliate in Youngstown, Ohio. The new StreamMaster PRIME is a direct replacement for a legacy graphics generator in the transmission chain.
